Catalan woven fabrics
Tracing back to a tradition several centuries old, Catalan weaving crafts developed at the close of the 19th century.
By saving the last village textile-weaving manufacturers, ‘Les Toiles du Soleil’ have brought about the re-birth of the great Catalan weaving tradition.
The design work is inspired by patterns found in the archives and worked in the very same patterns, or they are re-worked in the colours which are at the height of contemporary fashion.
From table linens to tea-towels, from pinafores to curtains, from chaise-longue covers to bags…all these woven products bear witness to the same creative elegance that identifies the genuine article.
